Point Isabel Regional Shoreline

Richmond, CA

A 23-acre shoreline park at the edge of Richmond offering views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco skyline, and Angel Island. It is one of the largest off-leash dog parks in the nation. The mudflats and shoreline attract shorebirds and provide foreground interest for Bay photography.

A day spent here

A 90-acre waterfront park on the Berkeley Marina peninsula built atop a former landfill, offering 360-degree views of the Bay, San Francisco skyline, and Golden Gate Bridge. The park is popular with kite flyers due to consistent winds. A network of trails circles the grassy hilltop.

Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park

A National Historical Park preserving the history of Richmond's Kaiser Shipyards and the World War II home front. The Craneway Pavilion and remnants of the shipyard infrastructure line the waterfront. The Rosie the Riveter Memorial along the Marina Bay shoreline features an art installation with steel and landscaping.
